Josie Williams Brown, 93, of 747 Hester Store Road, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003, at Rosemond Nursing Home. Born in Pickens County, Mrs. Brown was a daughter of the late George Edward and Minnie Leslie Williams. Mrs. Brown was a spinner with Mayfield Mills and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving Mrs. Brown are one daughter, Minnie Jane Baker, of Easley; four grandchildren, Susan Holloway of Easley, Beth Weisner of Travelers Rest, Sammy Baker of Marietta and Eddie Baker of Lakefield, Minn.; three great-grandchildren, Lindsay Baker, Laura Baker and Jakim Baker; one sister, Edna Wilson, of Greenville; and two brothers, Glen Williams and Hiott Williams, both of Pickens. Five sisters; and three brothers; predeceased Mrs. Brown. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Brown will be held at 2 p.m. today, Jan. 28, 2003, at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, today, from 1 to 1:45 p.m., at the funeral home. The family is at the home of the daughter: 747 Hester Store Road, Easley.
