Josephine Mary Forgey (Doyle) September 27, 1929 ~ August 16, 2015 (age 85) Josephine Mary Forgey, passed away suddenly at her home on Sunday, August 16, 2015. Born in Saint John in 1929 she was the daughter of the late John Joseph and Marguerite Caroline (Lynch) Doyle. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Bertram “Bert” Forgey, brothers John Doyle and Ronald Doyle and sister Rita Joyce. She is survived by her son Wayne Forgey (Jill); daughters Lisa Forgey and Shelley Forgey (Dave Judge); grandchildren Katelyn and Ashley Rooney and Logan and Reed Forgey; sisters Alice Jackson, Vera Arseneau and Frances Kincade (Larry); her canine companion Oscar; special friends Agnes Marquis, Murt and Paul O’Leary and Betty Wrench; several nieces and nephews. Josephine was a member of the Irish Canadian Cultural Association of New Brunswick Saint John Chapter. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Kathy Keith for her outstanding care and support shown to our Mom. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Wednesday, August 19 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 20 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances in memory of Josephine may be made to the SPCA Animal Rescue or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
