Josephine L. Richards Josephine Larry Richards, affectionately called "Jodie," born July 5, 1935, a private duty nurse, died Saturday, May 2, 2009, in Tallahassee, Fla. The service will be at 1 p.m. EDT Saturday, May 9, at Strong & Jones Funeral Home (850-224-2139), with burial at Southside Cemetery. She was born in Monticello, Fla. Survivors include a son, Harold Steven "Stevie" Richards; one granddaughter, India Coreen Rochards, both of Tallahassee; five sisters, Agatha Gibson of Trenton, N.J., Marcia Mabon of Maryland, Lucretia Silas Brown of Monticello; Una Silas Dymes of Monticello and Selena Silas of Jacksonville, Fla.; three brothers, Mortimer Silas of Arizona and Artimus Silas and Mario Silas of Trenton; and other family.
