Josephine T. Jones, 81, of 4 Grandview Drive, died on Saturday, September 13, 2008, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Maria Scott Thompson.Survivors: daughter, Gloria D. Jones of Mauldin; stepdaughter, Jo Ann Cruell; brothers, Walter and Gordan Thompson, both of Travelers Rest; niece, Debra F. Thompson; and nephew, Benny Thompson.Funeral Service: Thursday at 2 p.m. at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with burial in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
