JOSEPHINE EMMAWILLIAMS, 87Homemaker LAKELAND - Josephine Emma Williams, 87, of Lakeland, formerly of Ocala, Florida, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009 in Lakeland, FL of a stroke. She moved to Lakeland from Ocala in 2000. She was born October 7,1921 in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, daughter to the late Clyde and Mary (Kern) Hunsinger. She was a homemaker. Josephine was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church, Lakeland. She loved reading and bingo. She dedicated her life in caring for her family. Josephine was also preceded in death by her husband Leon Williams in June of 2000. She is survived by: 2 daughters: Ellen Dawn Distler, Lakeland and Cheryl Elizabeth Staniszewski, Endicott, NY: 3 sons: Leon David Williams, Vancouver, WA, Ted Lee Williams, Hampstead, N. Carolina and Michael Kevin Williams, Palmorton, PA.; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 11:00AM at Crossroads Baptist Church, Lakeland. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Roberts Funeral Home, Dunnellon, FL.
