Josephine B. Babe (Caracciolo) Mack, age 94, of Quincy, formerly of Everett, died suddenly, Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010 at Quincy Medical Center. She was born in Everett, raised and educated there and was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1933. She had lived in Quincy for over sixty-two years, previously in Everett. Mrs. Mack was a homemaker but as a young woman worked at the Schrafts Candy Company in Everett. During World War II she helped assemble parachutes for the military at March Field in California. She was a longtime parishioner at Saint John the Baptist Church in Quincy where she was a former member of the churchs bowling league and the Ladies Sodality. She also enjoyed bingo. Babe was devoted to her family. Beloved wife for sixty-six years of Edward A. Mack. Devoted mother of Elaine V. Weed of Marshfield, Edward A. Mack, Jr. and his wife Carol of Hanover and Dennis J. Mack of Winthrop.Loving grandmother of Jason Kane, Jessica Keefe, Justin Weed, Tyler Mack, Katelyn Mack and Amanda Mack. Great- grandmother of Jaycee and Brayden. Sister of Anthony Caracciolo of Everett and sister-in-law of Rose Carr of Nahant. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Monday, Oct. 18 at 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint John the Baptist Church, 44 School St., Quincy at 10 oclock.
