ObituaryJoseph Wayne King was born on January 7, 1975 to his late father WAyne and still surviving mother Janet Johnson and stepfather Sonny Johnson. He is survived by his son Garrett King, sister Karrie Pridmore, two brothers, Jason King, Sonny Lee Johnson and Sonny Lee's girlfriend Jessica Fischer,, his brother-in-law Anthony Pridmore, two nieces Brianna and Sarah Pridmore, along with his 2 grandmas, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter Alexis King and nephew Anthony Pridmore Jr. He also had many friends who cared so much for him. To name some there is is his fishing buddy Jason, crazy buddy Sam, Ralph and Chad who he grew up with, along with his second Mom Marsha.His family is broken hearted and will forever miss Joey's great smile, fun spirit, big heart and the great love he showed to all he cared about. He is being cremated, with a memorial service being held at the Church of God of Prophecy located at 662 Cooper St., Punta Gorda, FL 33950 Dec. 5th at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for his 6 year old son.
