Joseph R. Sanborn, 84, Englewood, died May 22, 2005. He was born March 19, 1921, in Worcester, Mass., and came to Englewood 25 years ago from Leicester, Mass. He was a sergeant in the Signal Corps in the Philippines during World War II. He retired in 1982 from Spector Mid States as a truck driver and was a member of the Teamsters Union 170. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Mary L. (Duncan); daughters Rosemary E. Miller of Englewood and Karen L. Quinlan of Titusville; sons James M. of Centerville, Mass., and Stephen J. of North Brookfield, Mass.; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Englewood Community Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge.
