ELY, Joseph Patrick - Passed away suddenly at home on Friday, February 17, 2012. Joe Ely, in his 56th year, loving husband and best friend of Peggy. Father of Edward and Jeffery Ely. Grandfather of Michael. Joe is also survived by his sister Marie (Tim) Flynn and brothers Bernie (Brenda), Paul (Kay), Mark (Mary Jane), Philip (Joanne) and John (Gerri). Joe will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent Street (just north of Cundles Road), Barrie on Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at 4 o'clock p.m. Memorial donations to the Donkey Sanctuary of Guelph, Alliston and District Humane Society or the Canadian Wildlife Federation would be appreciated by the family.
