Joseph P. Jordan, age 96 and a lifelong resident of Carneys Point, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010 in his home with his family by his side. He was the son of the late John S. & Edith (Sparks) Jordan. Joseph was a self-employed farmer who loved farming and working on the Jordan family farm his entire life. He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth J. Darlington; his brother, John S. Jordan, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by his brothers, Elmer, Kenneth, and Robert. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Friday, July 30th in Lawnside Cemetery, Rt. 40, Pilesgrove.
