Joseph P. Harrington MALDEN Joseph P. Harrington of Malden, formerly of Cambridge, died Jan.1, 2010. Age 91. Beloved husband of the late June (Kadlec). Father of Peter Harrington and his partner Jonathan Salaciak, Carol Harrington and her husband Mike Ayele, Lois and her husband Martin Peppe and the late Brian Harrington. Adored Grandfather Papa of Elizabeth and her husband Sean Ryan , Jared and Brianna Ayele, Amanda and Ashley Peppe. Great grand Papa of Max Ryan. Brother of the late Timothy, Frances, Mary, Margaret McKeever, and Agnes Jones. Brother in law of Ruth LaBossiere. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours were in the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Rd., Belmont on Wednesday 9-11, followed by a funeral home service at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment Holyhood Cemetery Brookline. In lieu of flowers please send donations in Josephs memory to the Boston College Fund:Office of University Advancement, Moore Hall, 140 Commonwealth Avenue, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467 or to the American Lung Association. Joseph was a World War II Navy Veteran and a 1941 graduate of Boston College with a degree in Chemistry. He was a retired systems analyst for the Converse Rubber Co. and for the Massachusetts Division of Manpower Affairs. He enjoyed tennis, golf writing poetry and spending endless hours with his loving family.
