Joseph Lee Brown died suddenly Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, a day before his 37th birthday. Joseph's constant smile, non-judging personality and tremendous compassion for others made him the great, outstanding man he is and always will be.Joseph lived with and cared for his grandmother for 10 years before her death, which gave them laughter and happiness.While living in Hokes Bluff, Joseph attended Cross Creek Baptist Church, where he had many friends. At his untimely death, Joseph was living in Alaska seeing new sights and having new adventures.He was preceded in death by his brother, Dr. James Michael Brown. He is survived by his mother, Rhonda Usry, who loves him always and forever unconditionally; uncle and aunt, Buddy and Debra Usry; aunt, Jackie McCarver; cousins, nieces and nephews. Joseph continued in death to give to others. As an organ donor, two people now have a better life. A most magnificent son, he will be cherished and loved forever, and life will be less for us as he is now with God.
