o'BRIEN - Joseph John II Of Springville, NY, age 86, was called to his Heavenly home on Thursday June 10, 2010. Joseph passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Joseph O'Brien was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Anne O'Brien and his dear sister Kathleen (James) Meadows. He is survived by his wife Katherine O'Brien. Beloved father of Kathleen (Donald) Wells, Joseph J. O'Brien, Michael (Peggy) O'Brien, Roseanne (Michael) Wells, Patricia (Jack) Argetsinger, Sonia (Patrick) Zoeller, Alfred (Barb) O'Brien, Lisa (John) Hogenmiller, Elizabeth (Michael) Langevin, Jonathan O'Brien, Benjamin O'Brien and his stepchildren, Laural Homstead, Amy (George) Rubin, Carrie Holland and Steven Homstead. Joseph O'Brien is survived by one sibling, Daniel (Anne) O'Brien and his dear faithful friend Arnold Hylkema and survived by 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 46 foster children. The family will be present to receive friends Monday 4-7 PM at the SMITH-WEISMANTEL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 271 E. Main St., Springville, NY, followed by a Memorial Mass Tuesday morning at 11:00 at St. Aloysius Church, Springville, NY.
