HEBERT, Joseph H. (Sr.) 66 Years. On September 15, 1999 with his family by his side. Lifelong resident of Tecumseh. Beloved husband of 46 years to Charmaine (nee Mero). Loving father of Joseph L. Jr.; Rocque and wife Beatriz; Henri and wife Judy; Lisette; Dion and Joselle. Son-in-law of William Mero and the late Bertha. Loving pepe of Tom, Joey, Michael, Jacqueline and Monique and great grandfather of Taylor and Natalie. Dear brother of May and husband Dick Adler of Detroit; Rita Hebert of Windsor and the late Edward, Herbert and Loretta Burgess. Brother-in-law of Rodrick and Barbara-Jean Mero; Barbara Reinhardt and her husband Real Billette; William and wife Margaret. Joe will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. He was retired from Green Giant, was a very active member of the Tecumseh Lions Club and was a crafter of cedar lawn furniture. Visiting Thursday, 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday, 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers Thursday, 8:00 p.m. and Lions Club Service, Friday, 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 18, at 9:30 a.m. from The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh to The St. Anne's Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment at St. Anne's Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy a Donation to the Canadian Diabetes Assoc. would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Joseph Hebert in the Janisse, Marcotte, Melady Memorial Forest. A dedication service will be held in October 2000. All are welcome.(The Windsor Star).
