June 14, 2006 Joseph Edmon, 75, of Syracuse, passed away to be with the Lord on June 14 in his native home in Pembroke, Georgia. Born on July 30, 1930 in Pembroke, GA, Joseph attended school there. At an early age Joseph joined Saint John A.M.E. Church in Georgia. In later years he relocated to Syracuse, NY, where he resided for over 50 years. He was a member of Tucker Missionary Baptist Church for over 40 years, an employee at Frazer Jones Foundry in Solvay, NY, and Joseph also ran Frank's Grill for many years. Survivors: His daughters, Tina Carter and Lachelle (Demetrius) Coleman, both of Syracuse; four sisters, Mrs. Missouri (Eugene) Sharper, Mrs. Josephine Dennis, and Mrs. Roxie (Charles) Baker, all of Pembroke, GA, Mrs. Mary (Ruben) Muldrow of Enterprise, FL; three grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Calling hours will be held Friday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tucker Missionary Baptist Church with funeral services to follow. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Dignity FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME 1500 PARK ST.
