CRAWFORD, Mr. Johnson Washington, age 88, of Crystal River, a Service of Rememberance will be held 2 pm, Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. He was born Dec. 28, 1918, in Hampton, VA. Son of the late Johnson and Ada (Eggleson) Crawford. He died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, in Crystal River. He was a Chief Petty Officer for United States Navy, serving during WWII. He was a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Assn. and a 48 year member of the Elmer O. Smith Lodge # 307, F&AM, Pinellas Park. Surviving are his wife, Ruth Crawford; son, David Crawford and wife, Donna, all of Crystal River; brother, Frank Couch, of Gulf Hammock; sister, Lucetta Crawford, of VA; and 1 grandchild, Amanda.
