JOHNSON, Johnny R., 55, of Tampa, passed away August 19, 2005. He served with U.S. Air Force. He was a member of West Broad Street Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He retired from the City of Tampa Water Department in 1998 after 24 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Kathy Johnson; son, Greg Johnson (Kelley); daughter, Amy Gallagher (Ricky), all of Tampa; sister, Kat Tomlin (Jim) of Sierra Vista, Ariz.: four grandchildren, Tyler, Corey and Dylan Johnson, and Jake Gallagher; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N. Florida Ave. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at West Broad Street Baptist Church.
