HENDERSON Johnny Lee Henderson was born January 16, 1950, in Jacksonville, FL. He served in the United States Air Force and Navy, was a star basketball player at Eugene J. Butler High School, and worked as a disciplinarian at John E. Ford Elementary School until his death. He was predeceased by his mother and father. Left to cherish his memory are his former wife and lifetime friend, Carolyn Henderson; two daughter, Ja'Vania Henderson and April Hightower; three granddaughters; four siblings, Ronnie, Leroy, May and Brenda; a number of relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Henderson will be held Thursday, May 26, 2005, at 11 A.M, in the Abyssinia Baptist Church with Pastor Tom E. Diamond officiating. Friends many call at the mortuary for visitation TODAY form 5 until 8 PM.. The cortege will assemble at 325 W. 11th Street at 10 AM. Intertment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.
