NEW BERN, N.C. - Entered into rest Friday, April 11, 2003 at his residence, Mr. Johnnie W. Carter, 92, or New Bern, father of Earnestine (Richard) Fonville of Mura Drive, Augusta, Ga. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 18, 2003 at 2 p.m. from Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. Other survivors include daughters, Annie Hargett and Egerita Carter, New Bern, Maggie Williams, Camden; 21 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
