Johnnie Mae Williams Johnnie Mae Williams, 75, a self-employed caregiver for adults, died Wednesday, July 9, 2003. The service will be at 2 p.m. EDT Saturday at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, with burial at Southside Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. EDT today at Strong and Jones Funeral Home (224-2139).She moved to Tallahassee from Bainbridge, Ga., in 1972. She was a member of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church and the Eastern Star Lodge. She is survived by two sons, Arthur Quick and Kenneth J. Quick, both of Tallahassee; a daughter-in-law, Monika Quick; a stepdaughter, Mable P. Jackson of Atlanta; a sister, Mildred Johnson (and husband Neal) of Philadelphia; a special granddaughter, Jasmine Williams; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a god daughter, Paralee Jefferson; two special cousins, Joyce Young of Tallahassee and Ellon Hinton of Albany, Ga.; and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and sorrowing friends.(Editor’s note: Because of errors in the text, we are reprinting this obituary.)
