JONES, Johnnie Mae, 82, of Mont-gomery, AL, departed this earthly life and entered glory to be with her heavenly Father on Thursday, Au-gust 22, 2002. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, August 28, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. from Western Boulevard Church of Christ with Brother Norris Harris. Burial will fol-low in Weeping Mary Cemetery in Ramer, AL. Ross-Clayton Funeral Home, Inc., Directing. She leaves to cherish her memories a son, Willie Andrew (Virginia) Jones; a daughter, Mary Jewell Howard; Fourteen grandchildren, Roy (A-nnette) McDade of Dallas, Texas, Douglas (Greta) Howard, Richard (Lela) Hooten of Houston, Texas, Debra (Willie James) Collins, Bren-da (Thomas) Minor, Sharon (Car-lton) Cargill, Marilyn Jones, Antho-ny (LaShunda) Jones, Cynthia Jones, Pamela (John) Spencer, Frederick Jones, Anthony Belser, Marlow Jones, and Vonnametre Howard, all of Montgomery; Twenty-four Great grandchildren Phyllithea McDade of Charlotte, North Caroli-na, Donnell Collins, DeAndre Ho-ward, LaShandra Collins, Kimberly Jones of St. Lukes, Arizona, Mar-quette Collins, Darius Howard, Carl-ton Cargill, Sumtra Jones, Desmond Howard, Thomas Minor, Mario Dickerson, Andrew Cargill, Zepha-niah Milton, TaQueasha Milton, T. J. P. Stewart of Montgomery, and Charles (Shirley) Stewart of Ramer; a sister-in-law Carrie Hall of Ramer. Johnnie Mae will be remembered with fondness by nieces, cousins, as well as a host of friends (Hattie Williams, Mattie McCall, Rebecca Howard, and Lil-lie Day), and the Smiley Court Community. Her body will lie in state of the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
