Johnnie A. Carter - SAVANNAH - Mr. Johnnie A. Carter, 86, entered into eternal rest on Monday January 17, 2011 at Candler Hospital. He was a native of Ellabell, GA and attended the public schools of Bryan County. He was self employed farmer for many years. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Survivors: daughters, Doris (Calvin) Haggray, Carolyn (Edgar) McPherson, Annie (James) Smith, Linda (Gregory) Colter, and Cindy (Robbie) Douglas; sons, William (Christine) Carter, Bobby Joe Carter, Johnny Carter, Alfred (Linda) Carter, and Ezra (Velveter) Murchison; 23 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
