SPARTANBURG, SC-- John Earl Williams, 90, of 115 Bonner Road, died Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at Hospice House of Forest City. He was the son of the late John Marcus and Willie Few Williams, and was the husband of Gladys Pearson Williams.Mr. Williams retired as a machine operator for Belue Grading, and was a dedicated farmer and gardener, outdoorsman and animal lover. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church.In addition to his wife of 44 years, he is survived by one sister, Alma Shields of Columbus, NC; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Eva Dover and Florence Williams; and by three brothers, Homer, Malcom and Ralph Williams.Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 4, 2005, at Sunset Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. Charles Hall and Rev. James Price.Memorials may be made to Mobile Meals, 419 E.
