Obituary of John-William-Sanders III


Sanders, John William, III, born in Bristol, Virginia, was a resident of Palm Beach, Florida for the past four years moving up from Ft. Lauderdale. Mr. Sanders was a graduate of Duke University. He studied organ under T. Terstius Noble at St. Thomas Cathedral in New York City. He was the organist and Choirmaster in Westport, Connecticut, Christ Episcopal Church in Alexandria, Virginia and St. Phillips Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina. Mr. Sanders was an active member of Bethesda-By-The-Sea Episcopal Church in Palm Beach, Florida. He is survived by two cousins, Frances Brunner Bowie and Shirley Brunner Moore and their children. Devoted Friends, Jim and Joyce Gibson and their children and Peter and Juanita Russo. He is preceded in death by his parents John W. Sanders, Jr., and Lottie Brunner and a brother Greever Sanders. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 23, 2001 at Bethesda-By-The-Sea Episcopal Church, Palm Beach, Florida.
