FREED, John William, III, , 55, died at his home in Brooksville on March 17, 2004 under Hernando-Pasco Hospice care. Born in Ellwood City, PA on Nov. 9, 1948, he moved to FL with his family to Delray Beach at a young age. He moved to Hernando Co. in 1983. He was employed by Allied Chemical for 10 years retired in 1983, served in the U. S. Navy Seabees Naval Construction Battalion 71 during the Viet Nam Era, a member of the Moose Lodge #1676 of Brooksville since 1987, member of the NRA of America, his hobbies included hunting, fishing & spending time with his grandchildren. Preceded in death by his father, John W. Freed, Jr., a brother, Robert Freed and a sister, Rosetta Krivos & the late Brenda Kuyoth. Survivors include his Wife of 35 years: Mo Freed ; Sons: Anthony Fontaine & Michael Kuyoth both of Brooksville; Daughters: Jennifer Bowman, Margaret McCrary, Patricia Kuyoth & Elisha Kuyoth all of Brooksville; Mother: Patricia Freed Ferrara of Boynton Beach, FL; Brothers: Richard B. Freed of L ake Worth, FL, Harry M. Milnes of Cape May, NJ & Jack D. Milnes of Clearwater, FL; Many Grandchildren and Many Nieces & Nephews. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa and friend to all. A Memorial Service will be conducted 2:00 pm, Sat., April 3, 2004 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hernando-Pasco Hospice in his name NAMI HERNANDO "The Beautiful Mind" in his name or to his family.
