John William Barker III, 56, died Nov. 22, 2005, at Health Central in Ocoee. He was born in Fort Pierce and lived in Vero Beach until moving to Apopka in 1988. He was a heavy equipment operator at Florida Potting Soil Inc. of Ocoee. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the Army. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Vero Beach. Survivors include his daughters, Theresa Marie Barker of Apopka, Kimberly Anne Barker of Sorrento and Michelle Leigh Barker of Milledge, Ga.; son, John William Conley of Marietta, Ga.; brother, Leon Barker of Vero Beach; and three grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Dec. 2 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
