JOHN WAYNE DAVIS1950-2008John Wayne Davis, age 58 of Pensacola, passed away in his home on Tuesday, December 30, 2008. He was born on March 27, 1950 to Ola and John Davis, who have preceded him in death. Wayne was a lifelong resident of Northwest Florida. He enjoyed golfing, photography, and watching hockey games. He enjoyed his family very much and would get excited about one of us showing up unexpectedly. He worked at Pete Moore Chevrolet for the past 15 years until he took early retirement. He left many good friends behind at Pete Moore Chevrolet.Wayne leaves behind his daughter, Character Davis of Pensacola, FL; a sister & her husband, Patricia and Pete Madden of Baring, MO; aunt, Katie Campbelle of Pensacola; two nieces, Jennifer Norwood of Pace, FL and Melissa Carlyle & her husband Roy of Baring, MO; a nephew, Eddie Madden & his wife Tisha of Brewton, AL; and seven great nephews and nieces.Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2009 at FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 100 Beverly Pkwy with Rev. Clyde Madden officiating.Wayne will be laid to rest at the foot of his mother in Pine Rest Cemetery in Foley, ALThe family will receive friends at Faith Chapel from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, January 4.
