John Walter Kramer III, 49, Sarasota, died July 13, 2005. He was born Oct. 3, 1955, in Washington, D.C., and came to Sarasota in 1981 from Atlanta. He was manager of the New Pass Grill and was an Army veteran. He was a member of Peach Tree Baptist Church in Atlanta. Survivors include his life partner, Mark Maxfield; sisters Catherine Hesterberg, Terrie Abbott, Joan Myers and Christine Kurak; brothers Larry Scheel, Michael and David W.; and three grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today, with services to follow, at Robarts Funeral Home Chapel.
