WALL, John W., 73, of Port Richey, passed away on December 1, 2004, at his residence. He was born in Astoria, N.Y., and moved to Florida in 1990 from Copiague, N.Y. He was employed as a police officer for the New York City Police Department. Mr. Wall was a member of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church in Port Richey, and was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean conflict. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jean (Newman) Wall of Port Richey; sons, Thomas and David, both of Copiague, N.Y., Robert of Lindenhurst, N.Y., and Peter of West Babylon N.Y.; daughters, Susan Kristensen of East Islip, N.Y., Carol Sheets of West Babylon, N.Y., Theresa Ahart of Flushing, N.Y., Kate Wall of Long Beach, Calif., and Lorraine Sillen of Ocala, Fla.; one sister, Claudia Otte of Dunnellon, Fla.; 11 grand- children; and one great-grand- child. Visitation will take place on Sunday and Monday at the Boyd Spenser Funeral Home in Babylon, N.Y. Interment services will be on Tuesday in Long Island Nation al Cemetery in Farmingdale, N.Y.
