MANSON, JOHN "SKIP" W. III, was born September 26, 1949 to John and Loretta Manson in Louisville, and left his earthly body November 5, 2011 at age 62. He attended Louisville Male High School, Eastern University and Sullivan University. His mother Loretta E. Manson and sister, Florine Manson, preceded him in death. He is survived by his father, John W. Manson Jr.; wife, Kim Manson; daughter, Je' Retta Harris (Bryant Harris); grandson, Bryant Harris Jr.; son, John W. Manson IV; daughter, Anjelica Manson; sister, Delanor Manson (Winston Tyree); brother, Glen Manson; nephew, Chauncey Woodfork; as well as other family and a host of friends. Visitation will be held at Hathaway and Clark Funeral Home on Saturday November 12, 2011 at 2 p.m. and the memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Please provide donations in lieu of flowers to the African American Heritage Center.
