John W. "Snapper" Goodwin III, 33, died June 28, 2009, at South Baldwin Hospital in Foley, Ala. He was born in Vero Beach and moved to Robertsdale in January. He was a member of New Hope Ministries in Winter Beach. Survivors include his parents, Margaret and John Goodwin of Roseland; brother, Gabriel "Gator" Goodwin of Vero Beach; grandparents, Viola and James Judah of Sebastian; and companion, Brenda A. Payne of Robertsdale. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joe E. Warren; great-grandparents, Archie and Elizabeth Smith; and paternal grandparents, John W. and Mabel Goodwin. Memorials contributions may be made to The Source, P.O. Box 2458, Vero Beach, FL 32961. SERVICES: A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. July 3 at New Hope Ministries in Winter Beach, with the Rev.
