Dwyer, John W. TROY John W. "Jack" Dwyer, 52 years, of Troy, N.Y., formerly of Brockton, Mass., entered eternal peace suddenly on April 1, 2007 at his home. He was born in Boston, a son of Dorothy (McQuade) Dwyer of Plymouth, Mass. and the late Walter Dwyer. He moved to Brockton as a young boy and was a graduate of Brockton High School. For the past 20 years he had been a resident of Troy, N.Y. During the Vietnam conflict, he served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. Mr. Dwyer was a longtime employee of Northeast Land Surveyors in Ballston Spa, N.Y. He enjoyed music, being around his family and summers at the family cottage in Myles Standish State Forest. He loved football and his favorite team was the New England Patriots. Husband of Susanne (Mc-Queen) Dwyer; father of Melissa Dwyer of Brockton, Deborah and Sarah Dwyer, both of Troy; son of Dorothy (McQuade) Dwyer of Plymouth, Mass. and the late Walter Dwyer; brother of Kevin Dwyer of Stoughton, Mass. and the late Paul Dwyer; cousin of Frank Scolaro of Abington, Mass.; uncle of Shannon DePatie of Worcester, Mass.; best friend of Roman Matejczuk and John Gay, both of New York. He will be missed by all. Funeral service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123), Brockton, Friday at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow.
