Memorial Services for Jack Casey, 88, South Daytona, who died August 20, 2008 will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 25th at the Hospice Chapel, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange. He was born in Boston, MA and came to South Daytona in 1962. He was a graduate of Tufts College and served in the Army-Air Corps. Jack was awarded two Bronze Stars for his service in India and Burma. He worked as a technical librarian for General Electric and Briley, Wilde Engineering. Among Jack's interests were watercolor and acrylic painting, world military history and the cultures and languages of India and China. He spent many happy hours with his dog, Rajah, cat, Rani, and rabbit,Ginger. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Winifred Ann; three sons, Kent (Carol) Casey, Kevin (Kerstin) Casey, Keith (Polita) Casey; two Daughters, Karen Carrigan, Kathy (Jim) Leavrtt; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Madelene Singarella and Louise Reardon, both of Massachusetts.
