JOHN THOMAS TODD, 67 MARSHALL, TX - John Thomas Todd, 67, passed away from respiratory failure, Tuesday, November 13, 2012 in Marshall, Texas. Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2012 at Gentry-Morrison Northside Funeral Home in Lakeland, Florida. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Gentry-Morrison Northside Funeral Home Chapel in Lakeland, Florida with interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lakeland, Florida. Pallbearers will be Tim Hornsby, Travis Todd, Ricky Todd, Josh Todd, Keith Malcuit, Jason Malcuit, Eric Baxley and Todd Hardin. John Thomas Todd was born May 15, 1945 in Akron, Ohio to James Walton Todd and Dorothy Sue Scott Todd. He proudly served his country in the Marine Corp from 1962 to 1967. John was a dedicated Nascar fan and loved fishing, hunting and cooking. He made his living driving big trucks. Survivors include, Janie Powers of Marshall, Texas; brothers, Jimmy Todd and Robert Todd; sisters, Loretta Sparks, Sue Malcuit and Kathy Smith; sons, Johnny, Ronnie, Jimmy and Ricky and Cindy Todd; 16 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
