John-T. -Dillworth II, spouse of Elsie Miller, father of Peggy, John and Daniel, died. Please consult the obituary here:
April 10, 2005 John T. "Tom" Dillworth, II, 79, of West Monroe, died Sunday at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse. Born in Paducah, KY, he had lived in the CNY area most of his life and in West Monroe for the last 11 years. Mr. Dillworth was a Truck Driver for 23 years withMatlack in Syracuse and was a member of the Teamsters Local #317 in Syracuse. He was a WWII Navy Veteran serving on the USS New Jersey, USS Alcor, and the USS Earl V. Johnson. Tom was predeceased by two sons, Daniel and John III; and two brothers, Milton and Joe. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, the former Elsie Miller; a daughter, Peggy Testa of FL; a stepdaughter, Judy (Elston) Wallis of Mexico; two stepsons, Robert (Joanne) Martin, Jr. of Brewerton and James (Bonnie) Townsend of FL; a granddaughter, Alicia of AL; a grandson, John T. IV of LA; a great-granddaughter, Ashley; a sister, Juanita Horning of Paducah, KY; a half-sister, Bernice Gibbons of IL; and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Calling Hours will be Thursday, April 14, 2005 from 10 to 11 a.m. with a service to follow at 11 a.m. at the Watson Funeral Home Inc., 631 S. Main St., Central Square. Burial will take place in the Hillside Cemetery, Central Square. Contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY, 990 7th North St., Liverpool, N.Y. 13088-6148.
