Survivors include his daughter Madison of Sarasota; mother and father Janet and John T. Jr. of Sarasota; brothers Christopher and Michael, both of Sarasota; sister Melissa of Lakewood Ranch; grandmother Emma O'Connell of Yonkers, N.Y.; Godson Joseph; brother-in-law Joey D. Of Lakewood Ranch; and his pet dog Knuckles.
