ELLIOTT, John Stanley - Passed away at the Brantford General Hospital, on his 84th birthday, March 22nd, 2009. Devoted husband to Elsie Joyce (nee: Legg), for over 58 years. Dear father to Michael and Pat Elliott (Michael Stenabaugh). Grampa to Jacqueline and Mitchell Elliott, Laura (Chris) Hunter and Brian Rutyna. John is survived by his sister Daisy Grieve and his brother Clarence Elliott. Predeceased by his grandson Jonathan Douglas Elliott and his brothers Eugene “Gene” Elliott, Charles “Chuck” Elliott and William “Bill” Elliott. John was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy, he retired from Massey Ferguson after 31 years of employment, and he was an avid bowler and sport fanatic. Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel, on Thursday, March 26th, 2009 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Mt.
