ASHLAND - John Seymore Duncan III, 55, died at Concord Hospital on Nov. 23, 2009.Born in Plymouth on April 12, 1954, he was the son of John S. and Geraldine (Pike) Duncan Sr. John grew up in Plymouth where he attended Plymouth schools and he was graduate of Plymouth High School.After his school years, he served in the U.S. Army.After serving his country, he was employed at L.W. Packard & Company Woolen Mills in Ashland, Rochester Shoe Tree, Frudenburg-NOK in Bristol, and Ink Ware in Meredith. John enjoyed darts, playing pool, fishing, and cribbage.He was predeceased by his daughter, Amber. He was a loving father to his daughters, Sara Dow of Ashland and Jennifer Duncan of North Woodstock. He also is survived by three grandchildren; two brothers, Tim Duncan of North Woodstock and Henry Duncan of Texas; and by two sisters, Alice Weare of Massachusetts and Sabrina Duncan of Meredith.Calling hours will be at the Dupuis Funeral Home, Hill Avenue, Ashland, on Friday, Nov. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m.A graveside service will be on Saturday, Nov. 28, in Green Grove Cemetery, Ashland, at 2 p.m.Dupuis Funeral Home, Ashland, is handling arrangements.
