DAWES, JOHN S. II, 57, formerly of Louisville, died Thursday, August 4, 2005, in New York, where he lived. He was the son of John S. Dawes and Rose Anne Brown, who preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, the former Colleen O'Brien; daughters, Mina Linek of FL, Jessica Dawes, Jaime Cucurella of NY; brother, Jerry W. Dawes; and sister Julie L. Turner of Louisville; and three grandchildren. Cremation was chosen. There will be no funeral, a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
