MCLELLAN, John Robert (Bob) - Age 81. Passed away Monday, November 2, 2009 after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. Much loved husband of Phyllis, loving father to sons Kent, Mark, Jeff and their families and grandfather of Georgia. He will be dearly missed by his family and surviving siblings Mary, Stewart, Norman, Grant and their families. Bob was loved and respected by all who knew him. He was a longtime member of the Highland Creek Pipe Band, an avid curler and a true craftsman with wood. He enjoyed a long career with Wawanesa where his love of people served him well. Bob always had a smile on his face and a joke to share. Funeral services will be held at Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Ave. E. (just west of Warden Ave.), Scarborough, ON, 416-773-0933. Visitation on Wednesday, November 4th from 7 to 9 p.m. Service on Thursday, November 5th at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Reception prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Contributions, in lieu of flowers, to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Interment at Highland Memory Gardens.
