JOHNSON , JOHN ROBERT, 72, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital surrounded by his family. He was a retired foreman for DuPont-Dow Co. John was a member of the Victory Memorial Baptist Church and the Suburban Masonic Lodge # 740. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emory and Chelsia Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Charlsey "Lee" Johnson; sons, Robert (Elaine) and Jeffrey (Shellie) Johnson; daughters, Kimberly Johnson and Laura (Neal) Thomas; grandchildren, Matthew (Nicole) Johnson, Clayton and Greta Thomas; and a great-grandson, McKinley Johnson. His Celebration of Life will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 19, 2009 at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with burial at Resthaven Memorial Park.
