Funeral service for Mr. John Reuben Orr, 76, formerly of Anniston, will be Saturday, November 24, 2012, at 11 a.m. from the Goodson Funeral Home Inc. Chapel with the Rev. Hersey Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Public visitation will commence today from noon until 8 p.m. and from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Goodson Funeral Home, Inc. will be directing. Mr. Orr died Sunday, November 18, 2012, at Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, Georgia. He leaves to cherish fond memories to his sons, Ronald (Linda) Orr, of Riverdale, Ga., Brian Orr, of Detroit, Mich. and Stedman Orr, of Anniston; sister, Julia Taylor, of Detroit, Mich.; brother, Robert Orr, of Evansville, Ind.; one brother-in-law, Weldon Williams Sr., of Alabama; four grandchildren; three great-grandsons and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
