Survivors include his wife, Irma; a daughter and son-in-law, Roberta and Randy of Buford, Ga.; and granddaughters Elizabeth and Ginny, both of Buford.He was a retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army. John was a loving and devoted husband of 59 years, father and grandfather, much adored by his family.
