Obituary of John-Randolph Lee


SPARTANBURG, SC-- John Randolph Lee, 81, of 172 Fairview Church Road, died Thursday, November 24, 2005.Born March 21, 1924, in Pacolet, he was the son of the late Claude Arthur and Annie Crocker Lee. He was retired from the Spartanburg Post Office with 36 years of service. He was a farmer, and also a former employee of Community Cash. He was a very active member of Fairview Baptist Church, where he was a former deacon. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Emma Wilson Lee of the home; a daughter, Linda L. Johnson and her husband Clyde of Spartanburg; a granddaughter, Tamara Ezell Davis, a great-granddaughter, Tori Elizabeth Davis, and a great-grandson, Jake Ezell, all of Spartanburg; a sister, Annie Mathews of Boiling Springs; and a brother, Sam H. Lee of Spartanburg. He was predeceased by six brothers and two sisters.Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2005, at Floyds Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2005, at Fairview Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Charlie Glover, Rev. David Lancaster, and Rev.
