Obituary of John-R. -Pineau III


PINEAU John R. Pineau, III, age 40, of Fairfield, died on Saturday, April 12, 2003, in Bridgeport Hospital after a long and valiant struggle with Diabetes. Born in Bridgeport, John had been a lifelong Fairfield resident. He was a graduate of Holy Family Grammar School, and Notre Dame High School, class of 1982. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. Survivors include his beloved parents, John R. Pineau, Jr. and Barbara Mason Pineau of Fairfield; his paternal grandfather, John R. Pineau of Oakdale, Conn.; aunts and uncles including his Godmother, Linda Kabelis of Oakdale, Conn., Margie Carroll of Newtown, Bob Pineau of Oxford, and Vera Bowkley of Verna Hills, Ill; and many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Wallace and Louise Mason; and paternal grandmother, Dorothy Kelley Pineau. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2003, meeting DIRECTLY at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 700 Old Stratfield Rd., Fairfield. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Monroe. Friends may call on Tuesday, April 15, 2003, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Spear Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield.
