UTICA >> John R. Lee, 72, formerly of Oneida, died Friday evening, Feb. 1, 2013, in St. Elizabeth's Healthcare, Utica. He had been a resident of Loretto Utica, since July of 1995. He was born Oct. 15, 1940, in Oneida, the son of Nathanial and Matilda Herbst Lee. He had received his associate degree in laboratory technology from Morrisville College. He was also a former resident of Trans Hunter House, of Utica.Surviving are several cousins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 6, at noon, from the Coolican-McSweeney Funeral Home, 322 Washington Ave., Oneida. Interment will be made in Oneida Castle Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. preceding the service.
