->Turna, John P., IIIChenango Bridge: John P. Turna III, 47, passed away suddenly from a heart attack on Thursday, March 8, 2012, at his home. He was predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents, John and Louisa Turna and Dominick and Olga York. He is survived by his parents, John and Margaret Turna, Chenango Bridge; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and LeAnne Turna, Hillcrest; nephew, Michael Turna, Hillcrest; niece, Sarah Turna, Hillcrest; 3 aunts and 1 uncle, Mary Malcolm, Elizabeth Laudato, June DeVivo, Dominick York, Jr.; many many close friends. He was a graduate of Chenango Valley High School and Cortland College. He was a math instructor at Broome Community College. He loved teaching, the outdoors, the B. Senators, the Miami Dolphins and C.V. Football. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 15, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at the James V.
