->John P. Mulligan, IIIDANBURY, CT - John P. Mulligan, III, age 82, of Merchantville, NJ passed away in Danbury, CT on September 25, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Jennie (nee DeFalco) and dear brother of Linda (William) Kypreos of Wassaic, NY, Paul (Margaret) Mulligan of Cary, NC, Robert (Sophie) Mulligan of Yuma, AZ. Also survived by 5 nieces and 2 nephews. He was predeceased by 3 sisters and his significant other of 20 years, Rose Haslam. John was a Korean War Army Veteran, receiving the Bronze Star and surviving malaria. He was a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and worked for RCA in Camden, NJ for 35 years, retiring in 1992. He was also an avid golfer, bridge player and member of Merchantville Country Club. Relatives and friends of the family are kindly invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial today at 10 AM at St. Peter's Church, 43 W. Maple Ave, Merchantville, NJ 08109. Followed by Entombment with Military Honors at Calvary Mausoleum, Cherry Hill, NJ.
