Obituary of John-P. -Lau III


John P. Lau III Lansing, IL John P. Lau III, age 53, of Lansing, IL, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2005. He is survived by his loving wife, Pam (nee Wolstenholme) of 28 years; twin sons: John Peter Lau IV, who is a recruit in the U.S. Marine Corp., San Diego and Charles Henry Lau, who is a freshman at Bradley University, both are 2005 graduates from Marion Catholic High School; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; father, John P. (Dolores) Lau, Jr.; sisters: Cindi (Chuck) Addis and Therese (Robert) Birkmeyer and Mary (Edward) Schmidt. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose (nee Baker) Lau and special aunt, Florence Lau. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 26, 2005 at 8:30 a.m. from the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road , Lansing to St. Ann Church, 3010 Ridge Road for a 9:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment at Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, IL. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m. John worked for Commonwealth Edison for 29 + years out of the University Park and Crestwood branches. He devoted his time as a volunteer with the Marion Catholic High School Band. John enjoyed working on his cars, spending time in Michigan, working on his home and spending time with his family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's name to Marion Catholic High School Band. John was loved by all who knew him and he will be greatly missed.
