John-N. -Maxwell III, father of Kaye, Hernando, Miss, John N. Maxwell, Winter and Fla, died on February 28, 2005.
THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. John N. Maxwell III, 81, beloved husband of Mrs. Catherine Maxwell, of Dogwood Drive, Thomson, died Monday, February 28, 2005 in the University Hospital. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 3, in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Dr. Jim Ramsey officiating. Mr. Maxwell was a native of Bowman, Georgia, but had lived in Thomson for many years. He was retired from National Homes and had retired from the U.S. Postal Services as a rural mail carrier. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II. He was a Mason and a member of the Thomson First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Catherine Maxwell, Thomson; his daughter, Kaye Maxwell, Hernando, Miss; his son, John N. Maxwell IV, Winter Haven, Fla. and two grandchildren, Kim Maxwell and Jill Maxwell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Thomson First Baptist Church Family Life Center or the American Heart Association. Friends may call at the residence or at the Curtis Funeral Home.
